His work focuses on a simple but demanding goal: helping leaders turn strategy into action and build organizations that perform when the stakes are real.

Bill’s leadership philosophy was forged long before the boardroom. He spent more than a decade in U.S. Army Special Forces, operating in environments where clarity, accountability, and trust were not management concepts. They were survival requirements. Those lessons became the foundation of how he approaches leadership, decision-making, and team performance today.

After leaving the military, Bill carried those principles into senior executive roles across healthcare and technology. Over the course of his career, he helped scale companies, lead complex transformations, and guide organizations through moments of rapid change and market disruption.

He held leadership roles at organizations including IBM Watson Health, Hitachi Medical, AMICAS, Teramedica, and Cohesity, where he led global sales organizations, built go-to-market strategies, and drove operational growth across multiple markets.

Bill also served as an Executive Advisor to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, supporting national healthcare data modernization efforts across two presidential administrations. Earlier in his career he helped contribute to the development of the FHIR interoperability standard, now used across the global healthcare ecosystem.
